Welcome to the The Wagging Tails Kennel! This is the place to come to claim a furry dog or cat of your own. There will be mostly puppies, but cats may occasionally come through. And maybe some bunnies or something too if they're allowed. Some animals here came from the streets, others from homes, they've been everywhere and are ready to find themselves a loving, caring owner.
Rules: 1. The current limit of animals you can buy is two (that is, if you have the dough). 2. You cannot buy multiple of the same pet. 3: No spamming/flaming/advertising your own kennel. 4. You must have your Membership Card so that I know you are active and will not waste the pet. 5. If I find you have not yet applied for a Paw Dollar account, then you have no money and can not pay the adoption fee. Open one in the Virtual Pet Activities board. 6. I'll take Paw Dollars out of your account, and if you want your pet Neutered/Spayed, then it will be 1-3 days before your pet can go home. When I tell you he is ready, make a thread for it.
To adopt an animal, please fill out this form and post it on this thread: Pet you wish to adopt: Name of Pet: Your Username: Current Paw Dollar Balance: Would you like your pet spayed/neutered?
You can name your pet, however, some are pre-named. If you don't like the pre-name, feel free to change it via adoption form. The pets also come with some background information such as age, gender, and history.
What do I do once I've adopted my animal? Uh, what CAN'T you do? You can post your pet in your bio or your signature (as long as the pet meets sig requirements) or your avvy if it fits. You can show it, breed it (if you don't have it spayed or neutered), make a thread for it, take it on walks, and basically anything you would do to a real pet!
Have fun here! Remember, an animal shelter is a great place to adopt a pet! There will be some strays or healthy pets in soon!
Bandaged Golden Breed: Golden Retriever Age: 4 months Gender: Male History: This loving puppy was discovered behind the tangled roots of a tree, whimpering for help. It was starved and had gotten trapped in the roots in the forest. We brought him back to the WTK for treatment, and we mended his broken leg with a cast. He'll get it off in a few months. Temperment: This puppy is very cautious after his leg incident, but he is the most lovable ball of fur you'll ever meet and never bites. Paw Dollars: 80 PD, Neutered 100 PD
Male Husky
Nickname: Loufer (name him whatever you'd like) Breed: Husky Age: 1 years Gender: Male History: Grew up in a small cabin with an owner that didn't give him much attention. Temperment: Though Loufer can be quite the stubborn one sometimes, he's always ready for a cuddle around the fireplace. Just remember to train him early before he takes his puppyhood skilled to adulthood. Paw Dollars: 70 PD, Neutered 90 PD

What's a reasonable price for a puppy? Like, the max? I know some dogs are free and stuff, but what number should we not go over? I just wanna know cuz I priced my Golden 10 and didn't want that to be too expensive. ;)
Oh no, that's not too much at all(two weeks ago i went to the shelter ,they wanted 200 dollars for a stray who had been there a few months already and they said the longer their there, the lower the price is, and the dog had been there months and months, and PD's arent much dfferent than real prices, so you can increase it if you want. ;))
